Factory material, with a defined scope
The indexed workshop scans cover the E30 M3 and 320is and are organised by BMW repair group. The electrical PDF is a model-year-specific troubleshooting manual. They are valuable primary references, but they do not describe every engine, market or production change in the wider E30 range.
Check the heading, repair group, model and build date before applying a procedure or torque value. Open the HTML manual for individual scanned pages; use the PDF when following a complete electrical current path. Copyright remains with the respective rights holders.
Record the page or diagram number used with the work order, together with the vehicle identification and any measured values. That makes later checking possible when a component has been superseded or wiring has been modified. If the archived document does not explicitly cover the car, stop and obtain the matching source instead of transferring a similar-looking procedure.
